Skate Park
Chris Hewgill and Shayne Teece were guests at our last meeting, together with the Pascoe family, Beppie, Troy and Anna.
The Pascoe family have been passionate supporters of the long-awaited skate park and it was great to have them sharing the evening with us. Chris and Shayne showed plans of the skate park, which is to be state-ofthe-art and it will undoubtedly attract tourism to the Valley. It is believed that skate boarding will be included in future Olympic Games. All the project needs now is another $40,000 or so... Chris and Shanye, who spoke with great warmth about our Club and its respect within the community, were presented with a cheque for $2,500 - an amount we have long held - awaiting the park’s approval.
